General situation
A south-westerly flow will bring in moist air masses; a cold front will cross our region the evening/night.
It will be cloudy, with widespread showers around midday and in the early afternoon. There will then be some dry spells before the showers will become more frequent again during the evening as the cold front will pass through. At the same time, northerly winds will strengthen.
Temperatures will not exceed 15° to 20°.

Any remaining morning clouds and patches of mist will clear, giving way to fairly sunny conditions. A foehn wind will be blowing in the northern parts of the region.
Temperatures will rise to 16° in the Wipptal and up to 22° in the Unterland.

On Saturday, it will be partly cloudy with some sunshine. Isolated rain showers are possible in the afternoon. In the north, the Föhn wind will continue.
Sunday will be mainly sunny, with the wind dying down.
On Monday, once the morning fog has cleared, sunny autumn weather will set in.
Tuesday will bring widespread sunshine, with only a few thin cirrus clouds appearing.
